To all of our patients,
We hope you and your family are doing well as we continue to navigate our way through this pandemic.
The safety and the wellbeing of our patients and our EGOC team remains our number one focus when you visit our clinics during this pandemic.
In line with advice from the Department of Health, our Clinics in Sale, Bairnsdale, Traralgon, Yarram and Orbost are OPEN.
Throughout lockdowns our team of Osteopaths are still considered as authorised health workers under the allied health services.
Things are getting back to normal across all our Clinics.
We can continue to provide clinical care and management to both new and existing patients where we can help support people experiencing neuromusculoskeletal aches & pains, complaints of chronic or acute injuries or even a general check-up if you have any concerns about your general health and well-being.
We want you to know that we are taking the threat of COVID-19 seriously and for that reason we continue to make flexible arrangements to keep in line with the Department of Health.
This virus is highly contagious so we are doing everything possible to minimise the risk to you and your when visiting our clinics.
Face masks remain mandatory for all patients and staff attending our clinics (unless you have a medical exemption).
Please see the below screening criteria that we need you to follow to keep you, our patients and our team of osteopaths as safe as possible!
SCREENING CRITERIA
The following criteria need to be met prior to you attending your appointment:
NO fever / temperature
NO sore throat / cough / runny nose
NO shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
NO contact with anyone who has flu like symptoms
NO contact with anyone who has tested positive or is awaiting a test result
NOT attended a declared hot spot as per the Department of Health
PLUS
You are following strict personal hygiene rules eg regular hand washing
Please use hand sanitiser or soap & water at the beginning and end of your consultation
Keep a safe distance 1.5m when waiting in our reception areas and please adhere to our maximum capacity
Please make sure that you are following the social distancing rules, the current lockdown rules and self-isolation policies when required
NOTE: If you are unable to meet all of the above criteria please get in contact with us so we can reschedule your appointment or help answer any of your questions.
We are also asking patients to pay for their appointment upon arrival to minimise any need to wait in our reception areas. Tap and Go is the best and safest option when paying.
When attending our clinics please remember to check in using the QR code or fill out the paperwork at our reception desks. To help minimise the crossover of patients and staff we are using separate entry and exit doorways across our clinics to help keep our communities safe.
At various times to help mitigate the risk of spreading Covid-19 in the community we may move to in-car waiting prior to your appointment. If we do, you will be notified about this requirement via text message on the day of your appointment.
All of our products are still available for ‘phone & collect’ if you need any during lockdowns – Zea relief, fisiocrem, Mglife oil, magnesium tablets, tissue salts, heat patches, Qiara probiotics, Mimos pillows, archie’s flip flops or therapeutic pillows, etc.
Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
