To all of our patients,
We hope you and your family are doing well at this time.
The safety and the wellbeing of our patients and our EGOC team remains our number one focus when you visit our clinics during this pandemic.
In line with advice from the Department of Health, our Clinics in Sale, Bairnsdale, Traralgon and Orbost are OPEN but this may change in the future and we will keep you well informed of any changes.
Osteopaths are primary contact practitioners and are considered an ‘essential service’ where we can help support people experiencing musculoskeletal pain and help keep patients away from hospital emergency departments and GP clinics.
We want you to know that we are taking the threat of COVID-19 seriously and for that reason we continue to make changes in line with the Department of Health.
This virus is highly contagious so we want to minimise the risk to you and your families as much as possible when visiting our clinics.
Our team of Osteopaths will continue to wear face masks when you attend your next appointment as directed by the Department of Health. However, face masks are no longer mandatory for patients attending our clinics. If you have a compromised immune system or other complex health issues we encourage you to continue to wear a mask when attending our clinics for your safety.
Please see the below screening criteria that we need you to follow to keep you, our patients and our team of osteopaths as safe as possible!
The following criteria need to be met prior to you attending your appointment:
NO fever / temperature
NO sore throat / cough
NO shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
NO contact with anyone who has tested positive
NO contact with anyone who has flu like symptoms
You are following strict personal hygiene rules eg regular hand washing
Please use hand sanitiser or soap & water at the beginning and end of your consultation
Keep a safe distance 1.5m when waiting in our reception areas
Please make sure that you are following the social distancing rules and self-isolation policies
NOTE: If you are unable to meet all of the above criteria please get in contact with us so we can reschedule your appointment or help answer any of your questions.
We are also asking patients to pay for their appointment upon arrival to minimise any need to wait in our reception areas. Tap and Go is the best and safest option when paying.
Next time you visit one of our clinics you may also be asked to check in via a QR code.
All of our products are still available if you need any fisiocrem, maglife oil, magnesium tablets, tissue salts, heat patches, archie’s flip flops or therapeutic pillows.
